Daily flights to Anahim Lake are available all summer on Pacific Coastal Airlines. They depart from Vancouver International Airport (South Terminal) and take approximately 1 hour. Flights are also available 3 times weekly in winter months. Car rental is available at either Williams Lake or Bella Coola airports if you fly in there.
Try a mini-cruise on BC Ferries from Port Hardy on Vancouver Island to Bella Coola, then drive to Anahim Lake in approximately 2 hours. Or travel the other way by driving Highway 20 and departing by ferry from Bella Coola. Be sure to make ferry reservations as early as possible! It fills up fast.
Drivefrom Vancouver, either through Whistler resort or the scenic Fraser Canyon. The driving time is approximately 10 hours altogether. Pick up a Highway 20 Map in Willliams Lake or 100 Mile House Tourist Info Centers for some great info on sightseeing during your drive between Williams Lake and Bella Coola.
DO NOT FOLLOW GOOGLE MAPS OR GPS when driving along Highway 20, as they are out of date and will take you down old, unused roads that you do not want see. Just follow the signs - sometimes the old ways are best.
Take the Discovery Coast Circle Tour!
A circle route around southern British Columbia is an excellent way to see the diverse scenery and attractions. From Vancouver, travel north through world famous Whistler resort or into the sunny Okanagan. Then make your way to Williams Lake in Cariboo country and take Highway 20 (the Freedom Highway) to Anahim Lake and Eagle's Nest Resort.

After your stay in the majestic Chilcotin, enjoy the spectacular drive through the Coast Mountains and down "The Hill" to Bella Coola. Then take a BC Ferries trip through the fjord-like Inside Passage to Port Hardy, travel down Vancouver Island to beautiful Victoria, then back to Vancouver by ferry.
